Who We Are

Cathance Children's Center is a full-service child care center offering exceptional daily care and a developmentally rich learning environment to families in the communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, and the surrounding area. We are licensed through the State of Maine and serve children ages 6 weeks to 9 years old.

  • Infants
    The infant room, accepting children between six weeks and 18 months, is the perfect place for our youngest learners to begin their educational and developmental journey.
  • Toddlers
    In our toddler room, designed for children between the ages of 18 months and 3, socialization is the name of the game!
  • Preschool
    Our preschool classroom offers a play-based curriculum designed to promote cognitive development in children ages 3 through 5.
  • School Age
    Our school age room allows children in grades K-3 to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences.
